As the new year begins for Makenzi she has become quite the little lady. Fixing her hair, wearing high heels and very aware of her appearance. Occasionally the ugly monster appears and she is overcome with anger for some issue or another. God has given her a firery spirit that is for sure. She is diving into her gift of music and has begun to use it at church during praise and worship time. It is so wonderful to see her glorify God in the way that he created her to do so. We still struggle with her management of her diabetes. Very difficult to know when to push and when to back off and let her fall. Praying for wisdom for Chuck and I and for her to come to terms with this life long illness.
