God is on the scene

Wow what a week.  Back to school and the rush of schedules to keep up with.  By Wednesday the kids were ready for the weekend.  Mati sprained her ankle again.  Playing through all these injuries and I just can't understand what keeps her going.  Must be passion and love of the game.  I can relate. Even after the struggles and disappointments of life and still come back to the one who gives his love freely to all those who will believe in him.  My hope and prayer for Mati is that she sees the comparison and comes to have the same passion and love for Jesus as she has for her sports.  Makenzi is excited about Misula coming to town next week.  She will try out and is hoping to make the show.  Then a busy week for her with practices.  Myranda has been a little crankie.  Knowing that mom is leaving for 4 days of work in Kearney really takes a toll on her.  Praying for her to feel secure even when mom is not home.  Chuck is not feeling well today.  Came home from Mati's ballgame and went right to bed.  Hoping he recovers quickly.  With all the plans that I had made and prepared for for the week only God knows if they will be utilized.  This snow is putting questions of whether to go or stay in my head.  I guess morning will tell and I will follow his lead. The highlight of this week is that a young women who did not believe in God and his saving grace came to know him as her Lord and Savior.  God is sooo good.  We can plant, and water but only God will cause things to grow.
