June Horrah

Ok so much for trying to post news monthly.  Goodness gracious.  Lets see Chuck started drivers ed with a nice number of kids.  Mati started Little Britches Rodeo with her new horse and they are having success teaching him how to be a barrel horse.  One small step at a time.
Makenzi was able to enjoy our state capital for 4 exciting days with her 8th grade class.  She had a fabulous time. 
Myranda spent a week with her grandma and grandpa Humphrey and became a pool rat.
Billy has been playing baseball in the pitch league and enjoying his dad coaching him. 
I have tried to balance work with play and keeping up with my housework.  Quite a challenge.  Also learning more about the amazing power of God and his plans for me in this year to come.  I am meeting with a home group and we are studying the Gospels as well as Wayne Grudems theology.  What amazing truths God is revealing to me.  I am finding such Joy in understanding more and more about who God is and the sacrifice he made for me. 
The biggest challenge at our home has been the television(too much) and getting the kids to help with housework.   I am soooo tempted to just shut the thing off again.  Praying for wisdom and endurance to stick with a method for chores around our house.  Why is it that one method works great for one kid but not for the other 2.  Lord I am amazed at how you keep us all in line as you made us each different for a reason.
